Earthbound getaways was born from a dream—a dream of 2 architects Shriya Parasrampuria and Prashant Dupare of creating a sanctuary where the rush of life could be paused, and the soul could breathe. Nestled in the tranquil landscapes of Wada, this home was designed with one purpose in mind: to reconnect people with the earth and its timeless beauty.
The owners, a lover of nature and sustainable architecture, wanted to build a place where both comfort and the environment could coexist harmoniously. Drawing inspiration from the rustic charm of brick and the surrounding wilderness, the decision was made to use bricks in the home’s architecture—not only as a symbol of strength and endurance but also as a reflection of the earth’s landscape that envelops it.
Maativan and terracotta trails were carefully crafted to ensure every moment spent within its walls is a chance to experience nature at its best. The outdoor games and cozy indoor retreats reflect the home’s spirit of togetherness, making it the perfect escape for friends and family alike.
It’s more than just a house, is an architect’s masterpiece—a space where nature and sustainable design are intertwined, where memories are made, and where the essence of simplicity can truly be felt. Whether you’re watching the sun dip behind the trees, enjoying a game with loved ones, or simply breathing in the fresh air, Maativan is here to remind you that the best things in life are simple, natural, and waiting to be embraced.
